About the Clovis Economic Development Corporation (CDIC)

The CIDC strives to market and develop business opportunities and recruit new business and industry which will strengthen and diversify the economic base of Clovis and Curry County by investing in new capital and creating new jobs.

CDIC Mission and Goals

  • To implement a marketing program to develop business leads.
  • To involve community-wide resources by utilizing board members, educational institutions, city, county, chamber of commerce and other organizations.
  • To strengthen relationships with city, state, national and international development organizations and maintain a broad perspective of business trends and economic development issues.

Conservatively, more than 2,500 additional indirect jobs have been created as a result of these company locations, contributing to a total economic impact of over $300 million in the last three years along.
